Thursday Walk About around UBC Farm

Last week we went for an educational stroll around the UBC farm and got our feet wet. Here are some photos taken along the way:

The Cob oven next to Children’s garden has a new oven door!
We’re looking forward to making and baking more bread from wheat/barley grown right at the farm!!

During our walk, an eagle flew over  our heads!

We learned a lot about the importance of bees to food systems and about all the research going on!
